Entanglements is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal publishing experimental work at the intersection of ethnography and multimodal forms of expression. Now in its fourth volume, the journal provides a forum for ethnographers to publish multisensorial fieldwork incorporating various media like film, sound, photography, and graphics. This issue features pieces on multimodal memories, intersubjective filmmaking, children’s play and sociality, anthropological role-playing games, and spatial storytelling using geolocation data. It also includes a section on conducting anthropology from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a focus on pushing methodological boundaries, Entanglements publishes cutting-edge ethnographic research that engages creative modes of knowledge production and representation.
